Assessment Description
The PSI 16pf® Sixth Edition is a comprehensive measure of normal adult personality across 16 personality dimensions and is based on more than 70 years of research. The results of this assessment help practitioners to better understand individuals for hiring and development purposes. With a single assessment, the 16pf® gives practitioners access to a variety of valuable reporting, ranging from competency-based interviewing and selection to employee development and identifying management potential. This online questionnaire includes 155 personality statements and a computer adaptive (CAT) reasoning section, which presents about 10-15 deductive reasoning items to the test taker. Individuals can take this assessment on a personal computer or mobile device and can be completed in approximately 30-40 minutes.

PSI 16PF® Sixth Questionnaire Reports
The following report options are available for the 16PF® Sixth Edition:
Interpretive Report
- Includes scores for the 16 Primary Factors, 5 Global Factors (Big 5), and 3 Response Style Indices. It also provides narrative statements for the Big 5 and their contributing Primary Factors, vocational interests along Holland's Occupational Interest Themes, individual item responses and raw scores.
Profile Report
- Provides a concise presentation of the examinee's personality traits, including an overview of the 16 Primary Factors and 5 Global Factors. Because it does not include narrative interpretations, this scores-only report is typically used by professionals experienced in interpreting 16pf® results.
Management Potential Report
- Assesses leadership and management potential associated with success in a broad range of managerial settings. This report contains a combined profile chart and narrative report that provides an overview of the individual's personal strengths and areas for potential growth and development.
Comprehensive Insights Report
- An extensive report with three sections (Practitioner Overview, Candidate Feedback, and Manager Feedback) that provide information appropriate for practitioners, candidates, and managers. In addition to scores for the 16 Primary Factors, 5 Global Factors (Big 5), and 3 Response Style Indices, the report provides interpretive information, development tips, and feedback prompts in addition to candidate feedback and information useful to managers.
Competency Report
- Assesses the examinee’s likely performance across a broad range of work-related competencies. This report includes the examinee’s competency profile with an overview and indicators, as well as competency-based interview guide and developmental tips for 20 competencies.
Competency Profile Report
- This report is designed to provide a concise snapshot of the examinee’s likely performance across a broad range of work-related competencies. This report includes a competency overview and competency indicators across 20 competencies.
Competency Profile & Interview Guide
- A versatile tool for competency-based interviewing, this report provides a snapshot of the examinee’s likely performance across a broad range of work-related competencies as well as a competency-based interview guide with personalized questions based upon the examinee’s responses.
Competency Development Report
- A useful tool for competency-based employee development, this report provides a snapshot of the examinee’s likely performance across a broad range of work-related competencies as well as a development tips with personalized feedback based upon the examinee’s responses.
Candidate Feedback Report
- Provides a brief, narrative summary of the individual’s personality traits and potential behavioral expectations. This report can be given directly to the candidate or individual as personal feedback.
