The Australian division of one of the world’s largest transport and logistics businesses embarked on cultivating an organisational culture that further increased staff engagement and supported customer-centric behaviours.

To support such a culture, a comprehensive development solution was required to increase the behavioural capabilities of leaders, teams and individual employees. The Myers-Briggs Company was selected by the business to create and deliver an integrated solution which:

  • Engaged the executive management team and 52 high potential managers in leadership development processes which enhanced the leadership capabilities of the group.
  • Equipped an internal group of facilitators, comprising learning and development managers and handpicked functional managers, to champion and facilitate ongoing team development sessions, which also offered flexibility to customise the team sessions for use at all levels of the organisation.


The Solution

The Myers-Briggs Company’s solution included designing and providing an in-house train-the-trainer program for the internal facilitators who delivered team building workshops across the business.

The Myers-Briggs Company’s consultants also facilitated leadership and team development programs for the executive management team and high potential leadership group, which further supported mentoring of the high potential leaders to achieve their development stretch goals.

As a result of the interventions, the business also increased its insight of how people from all levels and functional departments of the organisation could further collaborate to achieve the business’s objectives.
