    • TKI - Celebrating 40 Years of Conflict Resolution

How much is conflict costing you?

In our professional and personal lives, conflict is inevitable. Not only is this stressful for individuals, but unresolved conflict is a significant cost for companies. As an example, conflict costs US companies over $1 billion every year – a revenue sinkhole that’s often ignored, but an expense that’s largely avoidable.

If there were a way to teach people how to be more self-aware and manage conflict better, wouldn’t life be a lot easier?

Meet the TKI

The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) is the world’s best-selling conflict management tool, helping people understand how different conflict-handling styles affect interpersonal and group dynamics—and empowering them to choose the appropriate style for any situation.

In 2014 we celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the TKI, first published in 1974!

Conflict is not an easy area to manage, but that does not mean that explaining it can’t be.

Please click on the "Know Your Style" video link below for a 3 minute outline on:

  • What conflict is
  • Where it comes from
  • Five tips for better conflict management through the use of the TKI

And Because Data Is Better in Color...

Digging through mountains of data can be tedious, to say the least.

A simple search on Google yields 85 million results for the term “conflict,” covering everything from conflict minerals in Africa to the 1945 Humphrey Bogart movie.

And, without some prompting, your workforce would rather discuss just about anything other than conflict management.

Yet it is an important topic in all organisations and the cost associated with lost revenue and employees due to conflict is staggering.

That’s why we have taken the most relevant data on conflict management and the TKI and put them into a visually interesting, easily digestible infographic for you to share with your employees.
