Making Teams Work: Powered by the FIRO® Assessment

In a recent survey, more than 90 percent of people reported improved teamwork within their organisation as a result of using the FIRO® (Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation) - a group dynamics assessment developed by a Harvard psychologist, that helps people understand their interpersonal needs and how those needs influence their communication style and behaviour.

The Myers-Briggs Company is delighted to announce a new style event that will allow you to experience the FIRO® instrument and enable you to see how it could be applied in your work. We will be presenting this event in locations across Australia and New Zealand. Further information, dates and how to register are outlined below.

FIRO® Experience Event

This experiential event, presented by The Myers-Briggs Company's Managing Director and Psychologist, Cameron Nott, will introduce you to the FIRO® and you will learn how to apply strategies to strengthen relationships, improve communication and decrease conflict, leading to better team performance. Specifically you will:

  • Understand how your interpersonal needs influence your interactions with others.
  • Learn how to identify current team dynamics as well as strategies for strengthening communication and managing team conflict.
  • Create action steps to improve your effectiveness in working with others.

You will also learn about the two-day certification program to enable practitioners to become qualified in this restricted instrument.
